Status report: two weeks ago strong forces from the Draconis Combine made an unexpected assault onto the planet, surprised the defenders, and conquered six cities at the east coast of the main continent, one of these the former district capital.
 
Immediately after that, both sides called for reinforcements, which could arrive no earlier than in six months.
